GENERAL PUBLIC LIABILITY

Responds to suits brought against you by third parties on the grounds of bodily injury or property damage caused by your negligence during a tour excursion.

CONTINGENT AUTO LIABILITY

Provides coverage over and above any locally placed Commercial Auto liability policies for liability arising from the operation of owned- and nonowned motor vehicles.

CONTINGENT WATERCRAFT LIABILITY

Provides excess insurance coverage that sits on top of an underlying Protection & Indemnity (P&I) policy, thereby increasing your overall limit of insurance.

OTHER COVERAGES

  • How can I apply for the insurance?

    Applying for the Excursionbloc insurance program is easy. Simply click on the Apply Online button and answer all the online form's questions as complete and truthful as possible. Once we've received your application, we will respond within 24 hours.  After we've obtained all necessary information, we will submit the form to underwriters who will issue a quote within 48 to 72 hours. 

  • Why is Excursion Liability Insurance necessary?

    Cruise lines and global hotel chains require robust liability insurance coverage from tour operators they work with. That is because cruise passengers and/or hotel guests rely on their advice on tour excursions when visiting an unfamiliar area. If a tourist is injured or suffers property damage due to your negligence, they may hold both you and the cruise line or hotel liable. In such a case, your local policy would not respond to suits brought against you in a foreign jurisdiction and the policy limits would also be inadequate. 

  • When do I need Contingent Auto Liability coverage?

    If your operation provides any type of transportation to tourists or cruise passengers, you must acquire coverage that is in excess of the vehicles' local compulsory auto liability insurance. The Contingent Auto Liability insurance must also include coverage for hired- and non-owned vehicles. 

  • When do I need Watercraft Liability coverage?

    If you provide any type of transportation to cruise passengers or tourists on motorized or non-motorized watercrafts, you must supplement your vessels' underlying primary P&I coverage to satisfy the high liability limits required by cruise lines and global hotel brands. 

  • Who covers the insurance program?

    The Excursionbloc insurance program is designed and managed by ARM Global Risks, LLC with offices in Florida, North Carolina, London and the Dutch Caribbean. In the Caribbean region, the program is covered by Massy United Insurance Ltd., rated A- Excellent by AM Best, and reinsured by A Rated reinsurers.
